“4-CROWN” TRIUMPH IS SWEET FOR BRAD

Rossburg, OH…….Brad Sweet of Grass Valley, Calif. led all 30 laps to win Saturday night’s “4-Crown Nationals” USAC National Sprint race at the Eldora Speedway. Sweet and his Mopar/Team ASE JEI/Speedway Mopar were trailed at the finish by Mike Brecht, Jerry Coons Jr., Dickie Gaines and Jesse Hockett. Series point leader Levi Jones finished sixth but saw his point lead slip to just nine points over Coons going into the “Winchester Oldtimers Weekend” race September 28 at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway.
