DARLAND DOMINATES “4-CROWN” SILVER CROWNRossburg, OH…….Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind. led the final 33 laps of Saturday night’s 50-lap “4-Crown Nationals” K & N USAC Silver Crown Championship race at the Eldora Speedway and closed to within just 20 points of series point nleader Jerry Coons Jr. entering the final series race at Phoenix, Ariz. November 6. Coons finished third behind Brian Tyler, with Shane Cottle and Levi Jones rounding out the “top-five.” Coons led the first 17 laps before Darland put his Jarvis Enterprises/Plastic Express Beast/Foxco Chevy into the lead. |
